Delphi Exercise 2008
An international multidisciplinary web-based Delphi exercise was the first stage in the process of developing a consensus-based set of core outcome domains for eczema. This e-Delphi exercise involved 46 individuals from 13 countries and included clinicians, patients, representatives from the regulatory authorities and journal editors.
A preliminary set of core outcome domains was proposed; there was consensus that symptoms, clinical signs and long-term control of flares should be included, but there was no consensus on the inclusion of health-related quality of life.
