The COMET Initiative (Core Outcome Measures in Effectiveness Trials)

COMET Brings together researchers interested in the development and application of core outcome sets. The aims of COMET are to collate and stimulate relevant resources, both applied and methodological, to facilitate exchange of ideas and information and foster methodological research in core outcomes.

COnsensus-based Standards for the selection of health Measurement INstruments (COSMIN)

The COSMIN initiative aims to improve the selection of health measurement instruments. As part of this initiative, the COSMIN group developed a critical appraisal tool (a checklist) containing standards for evaluating the methodological quality of studies on the measurement properties of health measurement instruments.

Cochrane Skin - Core Outcome Set Initiative
(CS-COUSIN)

CS-COUSIN is a multi-professional, international working group within Cochrane Skin which aims to develop and implement core outcome sets in dermatology in order to improve and standardise outcome measurement in clinical trials and to make trial evidence more useful.

OMERACT (Outcome Measures in Rheumatology)

OMERACT are an informal international network of working groups and gatherings interested in outcome measurement across the spectrum of rheumatology intervention studies.

The Global Resource of Eczema Trials (GREAT) database

GREAT is an easy to use resource of randomised controlled trials of eczema treatments, with key data extracted that contains all trials from the year 2000 onwards.

TREAT (TREatment of ATopic eczema) Registry

TREAT is an international consensus exercise to identify a minimum set of domains and domain items for national atopic eczema registries that collect real world data of children and adults on photo- and systemic immunomodulatory therapies.

Centre of Evidence Based Dermatology (CEBD)

CEBD Conducts independent research into the treatment and prevention of skin disease that is of direct relevance to patients, clinicians and NHS managers. The group works with patients and members of the public to prioritise and inform clinically-relevant research programmes.

ADCARE

The main aims of GA²LEN ADCAREs are to provide excellence in atopic dermatitis management, education and to increase the knowledge of atopic dermatitis by research and to promote the awareness of atopic dermatitis by advocacy activities.
