Next Meeting - HOME VII

 Pre-meeting videos

Watch this short video in which Prof Hywel Williams, Chair of the HOME initiative, talks about the mission of the HOME VII meeting: to complete the core outcome set for eczema trials by agreeing instruments for long-term control and quality of life.

(music written and performed by Hywel C. Williams. The song can be heard in full on mediaspace)

This video presents a summary of what was agreed about long-term control at the HOME V meeting, and summarises the main tasks for the meeting ahead at HOME VII in Japan.

We'd recommend watching this video prior to completing the pre-meeting survey.

***** Please note the HOME VII meeting is now full and we are unable to accept further bookings for standard or industry delegates ****

A limited number of patient spaces are still available - please email home@nottingham.ac.uk if you would like to book one of these patient places.

The next HOME consensus meeting will take place in Tokyo, Japan. The main meeting will run from lunchtime on Monday 8th April 2019 through to 4.00 pm on Wednesday 10th April 2019. There will be an optional refresher / introduction pre-session on the Monday morning and a patients' session on the Sunday afternoon.

The aim of the HOME VII meeting is to complete the core outcome set. We have already achieved consensus on instruments for signs (EASI) and symptoms (POEM) and the intention is by the end of HOME VII we will have decided on instruments for quality of life and long-term control, and a measure for itch intensity to add to the symptoms domain. This will complete the core outcome set. View the draft programme.
